    Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości Spółka Akcyjna has a unique business profile – it combines the functions of a bank associating Cooperative Banks and a commercial bank. It provides a wide range of services to Cooperative Banks and at the same time is their business partner and representative. Additionally, through a network of 12 branches, it offers competitive financial products for individual and corporate clients as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. It specializes in services for: local governments, agricultural sector, agri-food industry, trade, crafts and travel industry.

    BPS Bank has been operating on the Polish market since 1992 – initially as Gospodarczy Bank Południowo-Zachodni S.A. headquartered in Wrocław. In 2002, five regional banks were merged with it and its name was changed to Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości (Polish Cooperative Bank). The Bank's headquarters were moved to Warsaw.

    BPS Bank brings together over 300 Cooperative Banks and forms the largest association of Cooperative Banks in Poland.

    The BPS Group consists of the following subsidiaries:

    • BPS Investment Funds Association
    • BPS Bank Brokerage House

    BPS Bank participates in the BPS Institutional Protection Scheme, an institution that ensures liquidity and solvency, and thus increases the safety of funds deposited by customers.

    BPS Bank is also member of the Association of Polish Banks and the National Association of Cooperative Banks.
